Venom 3: Lights, Camera, Action – Back In Business After Strike Drama!

Tom Hardy, director Kelly Marcel, and the crew are back in action after a lengthy strike delay.

Get ready for some symbiote action! Tom Hardy, the charismatic face behind Venom, just spilled the beans on social media – Venom 3 is officially back in business!

In an Instagram post on Friday, Hardy shared a behind-the-scenes snapshot featuring himself, director Kelly Marcel, and stunt double Jacob Tomuri. The caption spilled the beans – Venom 3 is officially back in business after a 118-day pause due to an actors’ strike that wrapped up on November 8.

“V3N0M 3🔥🔥🔥❤️♠️The Last dance – thankfully we are back to shooting; and I want to take a moment just to thank all the teams thus far on the ride from V1 to here all our fantastic Cast and crew – good friends and family – we’ve come a long way – it’s been and continues to be a lot of fun this journey there’s always hard turns to burn when we work but doesn’t feel as hard when you love what you do and when you know you have great material and the support at all sides, of a great team. surrounded by talented and passionate departments and when surrounded by people you love and care about it doesn’t get any better. I want to mention very briefly how proud I of my Director, writing partner, and dear friend Kelly Marcel I am. watching you take the helm on this one fills me with pride, it is an honor. Trust, your gut, and your instincts are always spot on. First class – I back you. 💯 %. As always. And I love working with you and watching you take on bigger challenges every time. And to my great friend, face plant chief operator, and brother @jaketomuri Jacob you still look all like me bro. Here’s to a great ride!!! #Venom3 #team. ❤️,” Hardy wrote on his Instagram.

Originally kicking off production in sunny Spain in late June, Venom 3 hit a roadblock in July when the actors decided to take a well-deserved break. With the strike in the rearview mirror, the crew is revved up and ready to roll.

The movie, which promises to be a wild ride with newcomers Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor joining the cast, was delayed by its initial release date of July 12, 2024. The new date is November 8, 2024, giving the team ample time to wrap up shooting and put the finishing touches on postproduction.

Fans can sigh in relief as Venom 3 swings back into action, promising an epic showdown in the world of symbiotes. Stay tuned for more updates and sneak peeks from the set!
